Full-Time Employees (32+ hours/week):
Depending upon the number of years that you have been employed at the salon, you are allowed to take off a set number of week(s)/days per year and not have to make up the time. After you exceed the set number of weeks/days, you are required to make up all days that you take off. (One week = the number of days that you normally work in a week.)

Example:

During your 1st year of employment: You are allowed one week’s unpaid vacation.

After your one year anniversary – 3rd year: You are allowed one weeks paid vacation and 5 unpaid personal days

4th- 9th year: You are allowed two weeks paid vacation and 5 unpaid personal days

10 years +: You are allowed two weeks paid vacation and 10 unpaid personal days

Part-time Employees (24+ hours/week):
You are allowed to take off a set number of days per year and not have to make up the time. After you exceed the set number of days you are required to make up all days that you take off.

Example:

During your 1st year of employment: You are allowed 6 unpaid personal days.

After your one year anniversary – 3rd year: You are allowed 8unpaid personal days

4 years +: You are allowed 10 unpaid personal days

Part-time Employees (under 24 hours/week):
You are allowed to take off a set number of days per year and not have to make up the time. After you exceed the set number of days you are required to make up all days that you take off.

During your 1st year of employment: You are allowed 4 unpaid personal days.

After your one year anniversary – 3rd year: You are allowed 6unpaid personal days

4 years +: You are allowed 8 unpaid personal days

Full-time & Part-time Employees:
If you choose to use a personal day, you do not have to make up that day. If you take a day off and choose to make up that day (i.e. to fit in clients, etc…) a personal day will not be counted against you. Personal days can be used as vacation days.

No vacation time off November 15th- December 25th (If you need a day off or call out sick during this time period you must make up the day)

You cannot “roll over” any unused vacation/personal days to the following year.
